Project Manager – International Association (Brussels)
Context
LGI is a mission-driven company based in Paris and Brussels, whose purpose is to accelerate sustainable innovation in response to global environmental and societal challenges. At the intersection of science, public policy, and industry, LGI designs and implements high-impact projects through four divisions: innovation strategy, project financing and management, communication and design, and digital platforms.
For many years, LGI has supported several European and national associations active in low-carbon sectors and strategic materials. Among these, the Sustainable Nuclear Energy Technology Platform (SNETP), an international association based in Brussels, is a key player in R&D&I in the sustainable nuclear energy sector. Founded in 2007, the platform brings together more than 130 members: industrial companies, R&D centers, universities, technical and safety organizations, SMEs, and non-governmental organizations.
LGI has managed the operational and administrative aspects of its secretariat since its inception. As part of strengthening this activity, we are recruiting a Project Manager to contribute to the coordination of the secretariat and support the technical and strategic activities of the association.
Position Description
The position covers two main areas:
Coordination of SNETP's administrative secretariat
Support for the activities of technical pillars and strategic representation of the association
The Project Manager will work in direct interaction with SNETP's Secretary General, the dedicated LGI team, working group representatives, and association members. Recruitment is carried out by LGI, with co-commitment from SNETP, whose representatives will participate in the interview process.
1) Coordination of the administrative secretariat - Main responsibilities (non-exhaustive list):
Regular support to the Secretary General in interactions with members and institutional partners.
Organization and management of secretariat meetings.
Preparation of the annual budget, contribution to the annual report, and administrative monitoring of the association.
Management and updating of member lists: address book, contacts, membership tracking.
Coordination with LGI team members responsible for communication, digital tools, and IT support.
Logistical and operational organization of events: Annual Forum, General Assembly, governance body meetings, workshops, and conferences (logistics, service providers, communication, reporting).
Registration tracking, service provider management, and close collaboration with LGI's Communication team to ensure event visibility.
2) Support for technical pillars and strategic representation - Main responsibilities (non-exhaustive list):
Contribution to the association's strategic thinking and support for the production of position statements.
Participation in institutional interactions: European Commission, public authorities, international organizations, partner associations, Belgian administration.
Support for the development of R&D project ideas and interaction with coordinators of projects endorsed by SNETP.
Participation in the management of European projects directly or indirectly supporting the platform's work.
Updating and monitoring action plans for pillars and committees (scientific, innovation, international affairs, regulators, etc.), in collaboration with their Chairs.
Operational support for their work: surveys, communication of deliverables, dissemination of reports, organization of technical meetings.
Desired Profile
Education and experience
Degree in political science/international relations, or engineering, or related field.
Additional training in innovation management, communication, or relevant discipline is an asset.
General knowledge of European policies and the decarbonized energy sector; familiarity with the nuclear field is appreciated.
2 to 3 years of experience in complex project management, association coordination, or European projects (Horizon Europe/Euratom ideally).
Previous experience in the energy sector or in an R&D/innovation ecosystem is a plus.
Personal skills
Excellent command of French and English, both oral and written (professional level required).
Proactivity, autonomy, and initiative; ability to propose, structure, and advance projects.
Versatility: ability to manage operational tasks as well as more strategic structural activities.
Ability to prioritize, organize, and manage multiple projects in a demanding international environment (tight deadlines, ad hoc requests, travel).

Location and Conditions
Position based in Brussels
Regular travel between Paris and Brussels, as well as throughout Europe.
Flexible work arrangement: possibility of remote work alternating with regular office presence, according to the operational requirements of the client (SNETP) and LGI's internal practices.
Salary conditions: gross annual salary between EUR 35,000 and 45,000, depending on profile and experience.
